About...Me!
Or: Who am I and why am I here?

Of course, I could ask you the same question, but I couldn't hear yer answer, so what's the point? ;)

Well, now that you've decided you really don't wanna know anymore about me, lemme tell ya anyway. *G*

Who am I?

Well, for starters, I'm a music teacher (No!)
I teach at a parochial school and am a member of the same parish
I teach general music to kids from K - 8th
and I'm just as sane now as I was when I took this job...which really isn't sayin' a whole lot, if ya know what I mean. *G*

Why am I here?
...and why won't I just go away?

Why did I just have to put up this site, as if I didn't have enough to do already?
Why did I give it such an original name, ie., The Music Teacher's HomePage?
And why did I offer to set up and maintain a sister-site for my friend, the Youth Director, at our church?
I'll tell ya why: cuz I'm just as sane now as I was when I took this job... ;) (I've got my fingers crossed behind my back, too, just for good measure, but you can't see 'em, so there.)

Some answers

I set up this site to reach more of our younguns (and parents, too) and to be able to share more about music than I'm able to cram into my weekly thirty-minute music periods.

That's right, I said thirty-minutes a week! :O

Notices of events are for the locals--you know who you are, so I won't name names. I will say that we're in the Deep South in Birmingham, AL. (I actually admitted that, but, like I said, you can't see me and you don't know who I am. *G*)

But there's gonna be plenty of other stuff that just any ol' body can use any ol' time. Check out the What's New page to get an idea of my ideas for the page.
Send me your ideas, too, for what you'd like to see here in the future. Send your info if you want credit for your idea...if I use it. *G*

Oh, and why was I so creative in naming this site The Music Teacher's Home Page? ...cuz dat's what awwwwwl the kids (and their parents) call me, awwwwwl the time, that's why. *G*
